EDIUS 7: Interface NavHacks

Digging into the settings and disabling parts of the UI that are not essential.
For example, setting the bin menu to display only clip name, timeline usage, and comments. Using descriptive keywords in the comments box to make it a searchable database -- makes it easier to find clips, especially when the bin gets full.

Very entertaining and very informative! loll. It helped to decluter my Edius 7 interface! I liked the part dealing with the "jog/wheel" simulation and the circular motion. Hello, I have installed Edius 7 in windows10 on a brand new desktop, there is no sound, but there is sound in all other media, such as videos on you tube etc. it was working fine on my laptop in windows 7 ? can you please help?

How to apply any effect without cut of edging video

You have to have video for the effect. So if you are cutting 2 seconds with the effect, then you either need 2 more seconds of the video, or make a still of the last frame and make that 2 seconds and start the effect that way.
