Please when are we getting some of these features in Edius, export to XML ( this is possible with MYNC), adjustment Layer, auto Color Match/correction, ability to import or change different frame rate in project settings (23.98p to 25p etc.) with a sequence, duplicate detection on the timeline, speech to text, something similar to audio remix tool in Adobe Premiere Pro, an update on the chromakey, update on quick titler and also update on primary color correction. 18 years Edius user from Ghana-West Africa. EDIUS Cloud is basically EDIUS in a special version running on a AWS system. You can rent the solution for production or you can buy a special license. S3 support is inluded in the EDIUS Cloud version. Please contact [e-mail] for an offer.

Myself and a few others have requested the ability to swap a project between 50p and 25p. This would be handy so then you can render out at either frame rate. Other programs allow you to do this. Thanks from a 15 year Edius user.

Dear Duff TV! Thank you for using EDIUS for 15 years! Great to have you as user! The 25p/50p (and 30/60p) swap function is on the wish list and has been receintly discussed by the EDIUS product managers, the EDIUS developers and the EDIUS.NET team. All wanted it. The problem: There is no 100% correct way to do this. Some 50p keyframes will not survive a switch to 25p (simply image a keyframe going from 0 to 100% and back all the time in 50p. What will happen, when converting this to 25p?) The developers have tried different approaches, but have said, that it cannot be done correctly and that's why they don't want to do it. So not so easy. There might come a new approach in the future using a different technology - by destructivly importing a sequence, or so. So you see, we are working on the user wishes, but sometimes there is no quick fix. We know that other manufactorers would go a 95% way. But EDIUS is different here. Stability and predictability is very important.

Im, curious if Edius 10 has same strange issues that 9. got? For example: if you change sequence number in the bin the name on the sequence dime doesnt change :) but in reverse order it does. Every time I create new sequence I extend tracks hight and enable volume control on audio tracks.... no possibility to set it as a default, and most annoying one: if i browse clips in the bin "a" and go to bin "b" and go back to bin "a" Edius forgets last possition and i need do move and scroll clips.... if there are a fwe clips there is no problem but if I have for example 200 clips in every bin there is huge disadvantage.

Please do not rename the name of the link in the properties, but rename the sequence in the sequence settings (e.g. right click on the sequence in the BIN and choose 'Sequence Settings') "Every time I create new sequence I extend tracks hight and enable volume control on audio tracks.... no possibility to set it as a default," Not fully true. Use project template AND/OR use a empty sequence with all settings you like to have and use "Duplicate Sequence" in the BIN to create a copy and start to work with the duplicated sequence. This would be a feature request, I put it in the wish list. Workaround: create more folders in BIN in order to avoid a lot of files reside in a single folder.

Добрый день! Скажите пожалуйста, когда поправят баг с двойным бегунком на таймлинии? Три обновления не могут исправить этот баг? В работе это раздражает, когда делаешь нарезку или особенно при выделении для рендеринга "I" - "O", где край выделения идет не по основному бегунку а по бегунку с пунктиром, в конце провал выходит. Исправьте пожалуйста!

Отдельные ползунки - это не баг, а фича. Они позволяют отслеживать. Идея состоит в том, что вы все еще можете видеть звук, например, даже если вы упаковываете слой видео выше. Это очень практично, так как вам часто нужно создавать клипы, соответствующие звуку. Если бы у вас был только один слайдер, это было бы невозможно. Что касается другого вопроса: если вы отключите опцию «Include the Preview Frame in the Out Marker» в настройках системы, вы получите обычный вид. Beginning with EDIUS X 10.00 you are able to export h265 with NVIDA GPU. Best would be to have a RTX 2060 or higher. Although, GeForce GTX 1660 Ti / 1660 is working fine too. Link to all NVIDIA supported GPU for h265 export in EDIUS 10: developer.nvidia.com/video-e...support-matrix If your GPU is older found in this list, you can't export H265 with NVIDIA GPU.

есть проблема с quicktime v edius x . установил версию 7,79 , а в system setting/ importer exporter его нет и как следствие не грузятся mp4 файлы . в 8 ediuse такого не было , что делать ? спасибо заранее .

Quicktime (официально) не поддерживает Windows 10 и 11, поэтому больше нет интеграции с EDIUS X, но большинство форматов QuickTime теперь могут обрабатываться непосредственно EDIUS X.

There are many good examples for 8K. First of all, if you have a 8K display. Then also if you need to work in 8K for 4K or HD, to be able to zoom and stabilize, but also to create many different setting sizes. For example if you film Theater, Sport, a panel and so on. The camera work is very easy then, you crearte the different setting soizes all from one camera.

Here is the answer from the support team: Close EDIUS (and QuickTitler) and then delete this key in the registry: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Grass Valley\QuickTitler\10.00\QuickTitler\WindowPosition It looks like an incorrect position of the QuickTitler window is saved in the regsitry. Maybe you used 2 monitors before and now only one? So then the window has a position on the second monitor. But by deleting the registry key, you can fix it.
