So you basically you helped Wahoo get 4 riders away from your teammates and helped them get 1st place while your team got 5th? 😂
@redzoneitg26892 күн бұрын
Ed (rightly) didn't help Wahoo at all. He smartly anticipated that there could be a move after the sprint and jumped on it, did zero turns for the entire flat section, and denied their 1st place finish points, which is as much as you could possibly ask for. Not his fault that Restart or the other teams didn't organize a chase effort.

@@redzoneitg2689Ed rode as a one man band Sitting in 3rd or 4th wheel helps the pack. He could have asked his team to get to the front, he will drop back and take turns at the front bringing WLC back. Ed loves to tall about tactics, but not once does he ever play the team game, he was so happy to "win" and had no care where his team came. There is no team in #Edmode
@cat.astrophe20802 күн бұрын
@35:15, he helped drive the break.... it was all coming together and he could have let his team mate R.Wood get his wheel on the descent, he was right behind him.... but #Edmode doesn't have teammates

@@cat.astrophe2080 Hindsight is 20/20. At 35:15 it looked like those 4 riders were threatening to break off the front so Ed chased to get on their wheels. When he pushed, Wood was 1 second behind. When Ed got on the wheel and lowered his power Wood was still only 1 second behind at 36:10. At that time if you notice Stajnar was 3 seconds behind, and he made it into the break. This is nothing against Wood, it was a hard race but I'm not sure what you expected Ed to do.
@cat.astrophe2080Күн бұрын
@jakobjas4212 it isn't hindsight, Ed simply doesn't race these as a team, if this was my team you are absolutely looking at the rider list and seeing that your team mates needs your draft. The WLC boys didn't just accidentally end up where they were, they were talking and communicating exactly where they were and helping each other out when needed. Ed was busy asking the chat questions.
