I suspect that Pettersson was "pissy" because he’s a highly ambitious young man and felt embarrassed that he couldn’t perform. And, how do you square advocating "pushing through", the blithe dismissal of tendinitis and inflammation, with the fact that Thatcher Demko is now considered to have pushed himself too far? Management would do well to remember that centres are also subject to the laws of nature. Just ask Ryan Kesler.
