Do you have to coach a certain amount of games to win the Jack adams? Because the depression we oiler fans were in before Woody was brought in, was daarrrrk. But he brought a whole new attitude to the team. Gave the rest of the team a job so each player could contribute. And I know you don’t seem them on the scoresheet but the rest of the team IS contributing. Especially in this series with draisiatl being hurt, the lines we played all year had to be totally altered. Woody deserves so much of the credit. As you said we didn’t even think we’d make playoffs in January. Can’t believe we’re here now. He and the Manson as well, changed their game a lot to defend in a way different way than they had been. The powerplay hasn’t even been good at all in the playoffs and they’re still moving on. That never would have happened before.
@otaviofrn_adv2 жыл бұрын
@@pdubcentral I don't think there is a number of games by rule, but the three winners that replaced another coach during the regular season (Bill Barber in 2001, Bruce Boudreau in 2008, Ken Hitchcock in 2012) had more games than Woodcroft had. They all were signed a month into the season, so they had around 65-70 regular season games. Woody had 38 regular season games
