2:27 Our team is too soft. cant leave all the rough stuff to just perry and kane. We need guys like....ummm....klim kostin!!....and Tyler Bertuzzi....Radko Gudas. Not necessarily those guys in particular, but players like them. We have size, just not the attitudes to use our size.

Holland had the best luck of any gm ever really lol . Dude inherriated basically as close as you could hope to the perfect team top to bottom set up for his first 3\4 of his career then was hired by a team with the best player of an era and aother thats in the top 10 of that era . Cant help but like kenny .. i spent my young years with him as the gm of my team so hes got a bit of nostalgic magic with me . Maybhe have a wonderful post hockey life

Always good to have a GM to be the patsy fall guy under you if something doesn't go to plan.

How does it seem Jeff Jackson is caught off guard with Holland leaving? He’s known from day 1. With not having any candidates lined up, I find it very concerning. Regardless of what we do with Jack Campbell, we have to do something this summer. Can’t sit on this contract for another year.

Oilers need a GM that understands the culture I personally think Ken Holland was great.

He got us the pieces and Coffey and Knoblauch put them together. Right now it's about the negotiations to keep as many pieces in place. I'm hoping the only reason he's leaving is it's his decision to retire and enjoy life because he's a huge reason why we got where we are.

Yes, he was.

Ken Holland wasn't wearing Oiler 97 jersey in those last 2 Finals games.

I would definitely shop Drai. Try and find a goalie and a top notch D.

good thing you aren't the GM. We'd have to get something absolutely insane to make it worth loosing Drai.

Oilers had an excellent goalie but Woody F'ed that right up. But I agree, Oilers need a real #1 Goalie, yet again. But they should be able to do that without having to trade Dria.

@@brandoncyr-is1xt In his defense, shopping isn't a bad thing to do ever. Shopping doesn't mean trading. It's a great way to get a read on the market value of a player, and should be a factor in resigning anyone imo.

Oilers also need a new GM that understands creative deals. Trying to get a 3rd party involved when and where you can type thing. Issue for that, of course, is you have to have assets to use for it (sigh). Take care all. Tyson, it's POURING in Edmonton right now. Thunderstorms this afternoon expected. We're supposed to have a great day tomorrow and Saturday (before it goes wet again with rain Monday through Thursday at a minimum, why, Mother Nature is a, ah, lovely woman who I'm sure is sweetness and light itself (right, sure...). Take care all.

How are they going to trade Jack Campbell? Who would want him?
@rinzzler3663 ай бұрын
by retaining cap

@@rinzzler366 And if they retain too much how would that be different than a buyout?

@@jokerofmorocco they get something in return? buying out just gets rid of him. trading we get stuff back.

I like Campbell as a person but $5 million to play for the Condors is not good

One of Hollands worst deals, forced by Woody, who like an idiot, wouldn't play Koskinen once Smith got back. Despite the fact that Koskinen had saved the season. He was fired about 15 games to late for me.
