Great job to all these young men and ladies Abe was the biggest surprise to me out all the New Orleans bands this year. Abe-They had a lot of emptiness and baritones kept rushing overblown on multiple songs trumpets were weak link Karr-balanced, tubas were weakest link this year Karr in my opinion with the W

Karr took this. Abe struggled in the beginning with execution. First song, Abe tubas messed up and stopped playing. Round 3, their trumpets came in early also. You can't come in shooting yourself in the foot against a program like Karr. Karr is a heavyweight for a reason, and the amount of complete arrangements they were dumping on Abe proved it. If Abe cleans up and cut down on simple rap tunes, they will join heavyweight status. Good battle, Karr with the win overall.

Karr Played WITHOUT Their Basshorns and ITS THE DIRECTORS FAULT! Basshorns Should Have Been Arranged ACROSS THE BACK LIKE ABES! And that made a BIG difference! I'm Sorry, but "DOWN GOES GOLIATH!" This Battle Wasn't Even Suppose to Be Close! Karr Handicap Themselves while Abe FULLY MAXIMIZED What They Had! Everyone knows Karr is a GREAT BAND! A POWERHOUSE FOR SURE! But When You suppose to be "THAT BAND", you can not let what many see as inferior competition RUN YO A** TO THE WIRE! My HS Football Coach once told me when I guess he saw, lets just say CONCERN on my face going up against a Bigger Player. He said: IT IS NOT THE SIZE OF THE DOG IN THE FIGHT, BUT THE FIGHT INSIDE OF THE DOG THAT MAKES THE DIFFERENCE!"
