Congratulations on the startup, you've got the hard stuff past you. The LS3 / LS7 blade style MAF is the way to go for swaps.

It’s more work then I thought really. I figured it would be common enough that there would be a option for it in hptuners. I was having a hard time finding info on it online.

@@PuddinsFabShop It's not an option because it isn't as simple as a drop in. Even if you use the MAF that came with the engine but a different air intake system the flow rate can change. Changing the orientation in relation to the tube (think degrees of rotation or clocking) can make a difference. Moving the MAF closer or farther from the throttle body or a bend will also make a difference. The engine will still run with things different than stock, it just won't be factory optimum. There are actually some rules on MAF placement but overall the LS3 / LS7 card style is far more flexible. These also have a lot more range which is good for the power adder crowd.
