As an Edo man, this breaks my heart, I have so much regards and love for the Obaseki/Shaibu combination, they have had an enviable government in the past 7/8 years, but loyalty is now a question here. My opinion, I think Philip deserves the support of Obaseki because he also fought for Obaseki against his brother Adams Oshiomole to ensure Obaseki was successful in the 2nd term. That said, for the sake of equity, I believe Edo central SHOULD get the ticket as they are also citizens of the State. We should not have the situation such as we have in the national level were the Eastern part of Nigeria have been refused presidency. My advise to Philip, reach an agreement with Obaseki, let Edo central get the next 4/8years, afterwards he will become the governor for sure. Edo people will whole heartedly support him then. I just want to see the mutual love and respect between Obaseki and Shaibu. Elders of Edo State(not the corrupt ones) needs to intervene... Edo to the world.....
