A semblance of the last presidential election. Therefore, INEC should immediately rectify this abnormality, and stop the negative trend in the conduct of elections in Nigeria. And should not always expect the courts to intervene in its conduct and methods of organizing free and fair elections processes in the country. Especially, allowing the courts to decide the outcome of the elections. It shows that INEC has not learned from its past mistakes. Perhaps, not willing to learn at all from its past mistakes. This is a problem. The question is, is INEC systematically destroying democracy in the country? Therefore, INEC should rise up to its obligations in order to safeguard democracy in the country.
