I grow up listen to his songs,those days my stepmother will give me and my elder brother Fufu to sell every morning before going to school,i still remember while in the market in Esan while songs was playing inside the market i have to stop and listen sometimes i shed tears even if i really don't understand what he was saying,growing for me and my elder brother was so tough no mother around to care for us but she always visit cos she and my dad was divorced 1992 Dad wasn't showing us father love now i;m happy how far i have gone in life no more suffering this songs really help me alot each time i listen to his songs i still cried till today the memories of me living in Uromi was very very tough Sometimes i do steal yam in uromi market for me and elder brother to eat but now God has put smile in our face May you continue to Rest In Peace Chris I.D

My story is similar to yours. With no mom around and wicked step mom. His songs was one of the reasons I and my siblings did not give up. Today, even my children cannot comprehend the suffering because GOD has blessed me. He (God) has made me Ephraim . To him be praise. Some people live over a hundred years, yet they are forgotten as soon as they die. Even their first generation do not remember them. But some like Chris ID who died young will live forever.

The months of June, July, and August 1998 are unforgettable historical months in Nigeria as they saw the passing away of people in the limelight such as Christopher Idahosa (Chris ID), Benson Idahosa, Sanni Abacha, and Moshood Kashimawo Olawole Abiola (MKO). But I missed Chris ID more for his inspirational and soul-stirring songs. But death was unfair to him by cutting his life short at 27 years, barely three months after the release of his last album with the famous track of "Ariobosa" that is first played as you listen to this non-stop audo compilation. Chris, you are gone for a while but there is hope for you as God will surely remember you in the resurrection of the dead when His kingdom comes to take over the earth that you sang about. We hope and pray God remembers you and others with similar faith as yours into a world where loved ones will never have to part again and death will be no more, and when God's will be done on earth as it is in heaven. - Matt. 6:9,10; Rev. 21:3 - 5. Especially the day he was laid to rest! The whole Benin city stand still! It was more like a president was buried. Almost every youth in Benin city were on black, people were all trekking kilometers! That day was a unique day on its own.
