A few things don't add up in this video: 1. Ed actually did use GarageBand before (kzbin.info/www/bejne/mpnQfoFsr9VqldE) 2. Peppe obviously can use VSTs beyond the stock plugins (e.g. AnalogLab and RC20) 3. Peppe is not a beginner and not a noob, which is proven by the arrangement of his beat

It felt almost like paying homage to Kyle. I actually enjoyed this video, but I think he should have at least given Kyle a mention or something for inspiring it. But since he didn't, I'm gonna blow up his spot. There were so many things that were uncanny. Here's a short list of the ones that stood out the most to me, but I'm sure there were many more. I only watched each video once but here's what I got: 1. They were both in the same house different rooms 2. It was his editor who were both "n00bs" 3. Laptop with Garage Band, PC with FL Studio 4. Makes reference to the PC mouse in some way 5. No MIDI keyboard, had to use laptop keyboard 6. Both Ed/Kyle "never used Garage Band before" 7. Both were promoting a loop/sample pack 8. Kyle and Ed ended up doing surprise vocals etc.

This is like a master class on how NOT to come up with song ideas. Dont focus on the sound, that can be swapped out. Focus on the general idea FIRST, just like sketching art before you draw the real thing, the finer details can be worked out later.

both of your beats are pretty similar! A nice calm and chill beat that reminds me of lo-fi. Which I love hearing when I do relaxing stuff, like building in minecraft (weird example, I know) I gotta say though, I'd love to see you batteling against someone who's been producing and learning about rave music or Heavy Metal or just something that incredibly stands out from the chill beats, you usually do. I've been focusing on a lot of different music that just goes hard and in the last year, I've been learning so much that I would love to compare my music to others that are on a high level of music production!

Get the 90 day trial of ableton live when you open it, press tab hahaha then you can see your tracks. The stock plugins and sounds Should work fine for learning the basics but look out for drum samples
