I was at this show. Kenny was so happy to be playing live again. The whole band was having fun. He showed a lot of love and respect for Ally here. A lot of acts would be jealous or dismissive but they jammed together for several songs instead of the "one and done" kind thing most artists offer their opening acts.

Just saw him last month with Buddy Guy, two days before Buddy's 87th birthday. Kws laid down his iconic solo jam on While We Cry and the lightning in the background was intense! Almost got rained out, the energy was too high and the clouds went around us all for the rest of the show. Super glad I could make that experience!

Don't really know who Ally Venable is but....goddamn!! Chica has some seriously devastating chops & tone! She held her own head-cutting with the great KWS. Rare stage presence/ confidence for someone that young against that impressive crew. Wish I could have been there. That set alone was worth the price of admission!

Fantastic band. Special performance. Kenny let's Ally shine and she was truly inspired this show. Her use of the wah is Jimi worthy. Kenny looks totally relaxed and happy scorchin' it with Ally. What a treat!

yep. he calls it the woody guitar. made from 3000 year old wood from the bottom of the ocean. truly one of a kind. stainless steel pick-guard too.

@@bobwinterfeld4627 He does have a 61. the 61 strat is the sunburst. However, the 61 with all the finish off that you describe, isn't actually the real one. It is a replica built by the fender custom shop. the original he keeps for studio use only now. been that way since around 2011.
