I have long time ago assembled a Tornado jet plane from Revell. Only difference was that scale of the model kit was in scale 1/72. And it was interesting experience, since these were the beginnings of my modeling as well.

Welcome to the channel and thank you for your feedbacks. I also started modeling in 1/72 scale and felt quite intimidated by big scale kits, but after working on a couple of Hasegawa kits in 1/48 scale, I was converted. The larger scale allows more details but also makes for more work!

I built the original release version of this kit the fit of the upper wing gloves is not great and the wing's parts are complicated but it is still a very nicely detailed kit,

Looking at the parts I can see quite a bit of flash, so lots of cleaning required, won’t put off seasoned modellers, but can scare off beginners, would love to see Tamiya give it a go…

@@keunghoa you never know it's possible Tamiya could do one if they wanted to. I agree it's the kit for beginners but but after it's together with some work it's worth it.
