I know right? This documentary is meant to be a ‘aww look at how they have developed’ sort of thing. If anything I am happy that Tom and Bailey broke up when they did, otherwise the chav natured Bailey would be breast feeding two kids by now. At least atom has the opportunity to do well, and unlike Georgia, has aspirations and decided to put his grim past behind him.

@Musical Shimmer no, it isn't. When a kid is persistently bullied and it is not actually dealt with (notice how the girl Georgia was just automatically believed despite clearly lying? And that she "didn't know" whether she stomped on his head? Again, despite saying that people were and it being clear as day she did) he will end up eventually responding with violence, because what else can they do? Constantly put up with the BS? Then when a kid kills themselves from being bullied everyone cries about it, when if they did something it wouldn't have happened. So no, why he hit the child is not irrelevant at all actually. That more than likely benefit scrounger Georgia should have been expelled among the rest of her benefit scrounging sisters, then Jac would not have had to deal with the bullying himself, simple as that. He stood up for himself, any normal person would encourage that.

I certainly do understand where you're coming from and I do feel sorry for Jac-Henry. However, because he got physical when someone made him angry, he may have been a danger to other students and that's why they did what they did. Also, its setting him up for life because if he lashes out at someone in the future, he could be arrested for assault. But I do feel sorry for him because he clearly doesn't mean to react in that way.

What I fail to understand is why it was left until he had to pass his GCSE English orals at 15. I'll go ahead and assume he's been in school since he was 5 or 6 and had this stammer the whole time. Hell, he's probably had it since he learned to speak (two languages, if I'm not mistaken) Why wasn't this addressed years ago? That kid had to suffer all this time for no good reason. Where were his parents? Where was the speech therapist? Where were the doctors? A single teacher helped him, almost too late, on his own time. He isn't trained in speech therapy. He used techniques he remembered from a movie. How much easier would this have been for this young man if he'd been given the proper resources at an early age? There's no excuse for this child's struggle when he should have been helped years before. This series infuriates me. Kids are slipping through every crack because these schools waste all their resources on kids who don't know how to behave.

@travelmuse1994 Жыл бұрын
Jac also lashed out at another student later on in the episode, which is what led to him being excluded for three days. Anyone who thinks it’s ok for someone to physically assault someone else because they don’t like something they’ve said needs a reality check. What Jac did could land him in serious trouble with the law: if he’d been an adult doing that he could have faced time in prison. I did feel for him as he’s not a bad lad and clearly felt bad afterwards, but someone teasing you verbally is not an excuse to hit them.
