Our education standards need to be at par with Singapore. We are way far behind. PMR exams should be reinstated. English in Maths, Science, Geography, Economics, Accounts, Biology, Physics, Chemistry and History should all be taught in English. Then these students should be able to easily adapt to A Levels, American/Australian, Canadian foundation programmes.

Well i dont think using english as the main language in school could really help improve the students. For example, look at countries such as China, Korea etc they are using their own language and probably about 10% english (just like our country) yet they are way more advanced than us and even Singapore. So i feel like language isnt the main problem here, its the mindset.

Didn't the exam passing mark was brought down to a single digit? If yes, then that's the reason why students score A. If all exams nationwide had the following passing marks, I am sure everyone including fadhlina's daughter would have failed. And this should happen. The grading should be ... A - 90% to 100% B - 80% to 89% C - 70% to 79% Fail - 69% and below
