trying to develop my commentary skills for SUPERVIVE but i come from a League of Legends background which is significantly slower paced so my voice cant keep up with my thoughts. ill leave some notes here to complete some of the points i wanted to make: 1:21 - what i mean by not using rmb is mostly about the ground slam (tap rmb). most of the time, having 3 left shifts and tether available is more useful to me in that first entry because i dont expect to just tether in and one shot people. lshift is the absolute priority spell to have even though you have 3 of them because of their instantaneous nature and tether is extremely useful for "sticking" onto opponents so my natural choice for engage is to use the hold rmb to dash at my opponents, bait spells and use my other utility to follow up eventually. you can still air slam because it's a separate cd so it's not the worst to have to wait ~6 seconds to follow up with ground slam/tether slash 13:35 i wanted to push her out of melee range so i could recast tether -> tether slash but i missed it. the reason why she needs to be further away is because if i tether to her in melee range there's a chance my tether slash wouldnt fire because id reach joule too fast before my tether slash input. thats why stepping back after tethering someone melee then recasting -> slash is a good idea.

Brall was my first main a few alpha tests ago. I stopped playing him because he was too complex as noob but after playing shiv for several alpha tests during the beta decided to give him a go again and it feels so much better now that I have a better understanding of tempo of fights and how to engage as a close range character. He's so much fun brall and shiv are the only characters I'll ever need their playstyle is just perfect to me

Idk if someone said it, and I'm sure it's been a thought, and I know it's extra work, but you can always record the game and then commentary the recording. I only say this because I know that I would watch the video at a slower pace and breaking down your thoughts because a lot of it is situational and I'm sure you're weighing your options and deciding between 2 to 6 different moves or tactics.

Brall is easier than Jihn because Brall is WAY harder to punish when he makes a misplay. He has too many dashes. That being said, he’s super fun and one of the best designed characters I’ve seen.

Also, for my fellow Jin mains. Do you guys ever use your clone to double the DMG, or do you mostly use it as a tp? I feel like it's not tanky enough to stay in a fight and has a low enough CD to use it like another ability. Personally, I use it as bait sometimes, but mostly as a tp with a possible additional DMG if I hit double Primary ability. Also, absolutely love tping out of bounds with it 😂
