It's so good to see when students love being at school, because they feel safe to share their opinions.

I am so glad to see student's who love being at school and know that their teachers love them and care about them deeply. God bless these wonderful teachers.

Each child is important and they all have their strong and weak suits. It's good to bring out what they are good at and let them all realize they have their special place. Although, I think it is good to question things and make comments in a respectable manner.

Sounds great and all but I wonder what happens when the camera crew leaves?

This kind of video is great - but it lacks clarity, IMHO. What concrete steps can people take to create a belonging classroom - these things don't just happen. Do I need to buy the book?

Develop a class identity. Allow children to develop their individual identities. Create a school environment where children support each other. All really important.

"We don't question. We don't comment" Perfect recipe for a delusional, unhealthy class environment that won't prepare kids for the real world. However, those two points are taken completely out of context, so this comment may not be fair.

It seemed like they were writing about very personal and sensitive cultural identity issues. I assume the "don't question, don't comment" rule was laid down for this specific activity, so that students would feel more comfortable sharing with their classmates. I'm sure they have plenty of opportunities for questioning, commenting, and analyzing during other activities.

There is so much disrespect and bad behaviour that I am sure this kind of classroom is often not possible.
