This touched me. The cellist feels the melody, she knows where it will lead and she takes us to a smooth trip there! Thank you so much! Also this piece is something else.....

0:00 That pianist felt it, looks like it hit her like a brick. The Cello is many things, emotional, sophisticated, deep, moving, as well as powerful.

I love it! Just one thing, on the crescendo at 2:28, the cello is pulling at my heart, and it lets go all of a sudden. It would sound even more better if you held that note and let it fade. Other than that, thank you!

As a beginning Cellist, this is the most motivational performance I've seen. Life goals for sure...

Damn. Just damn. One of my favorite classical pieces and what an absolutely wonderful performance of it. It seems like you found the heart of that cello for sure(ps. Who made your cello). Keep it up! Kudos to the pianist as well! An excellent balance and foundation for the cello.

I'm not a composer, you did very good. My only thing is why is this one not played slower and drawn out?
@christopherdavis70695 жыл бұрын
This piece was made in the romantic era of music. So this wasn't composed by them.

As Benjamin Zander explains, you usually need to play slow passages a little faster to allow greater flexibility of expression. If you’re already as slow as possible, you’ve nowhere to go when you need to draw out the emotion. Paradoxically the point is play fast passages a little easier so it doesn’t sound rushed or slurred, and in slow passages, keep the music rhythmic and flowing, not losing forward momentum.
