Kippenvel in het Kralingse Bos als Edward Gal en Total US hun Kür op Muziek rijden op dezelfde muziek als zijn vader Totilas 11 jaar eerder.

Head bobbing constantly, behind the vertical constantly, PLEASE let him have more rein, you are stifling this beautiful horse. It looks forced and uncomfortable for the horse with his head wrenched in like that. Tail swish is a big FO from a horse. Watch how many swishes during piaffe, which looks incredibly unnatural, unco-ordinated and forced. Go back to classical dressage before you wreck this horse.

@Viollet, I agree, the horse looks "stilted," and he moves more like a Saddlebred than a dressage horse. Gal's riding is terrible! The horse bounces him right out of the saddle! This is just a shameful display of cutting corners, and treating the horse like a machine and not an athlete. Shame on the FEI for allowing this. 😕

No Rollkur to be seen in this, nor does CHIO allow that.

You did it again, Edward Gal. Bravo! I just watched Charlotte Dujardin on Gio and was utterly disappointed. She must have rushed in. Harmony that is so magic to the “unknowing” public is coming back. The second volte could be a little more harmonious, but you will get there. Totilas is back. So glad.

Obviously you understand nothing about horses, especially nothing about Classical Dressage. This ride has nothing to do with the principles of Classical Dressage. This rolled horse is a poor horse. Everything is wrong. Learn basics.

@@saarlooswolfhund6237 Not only did I learn the basics, my horses survived abuse and lived up to their late 20s early 30s. Our remaining one survived colic surgery at age 36 and is doing fine. Learn THE basic of horse riding: weight. Gal is guiding his horse with his weight. No need to do Rollkur. Horses ridden this way will offer their necks enrolled, because they do not have to care about balancing an unbalanced rider via their necks.

You do know that Edward Gal used rollkur training on Totilas right?
@privatemailcall60112 жыл бұрын
@@Carlijn_H No actually, I wasn't privy to observe Totilas in training with Edward, nor made aware of such. I'm confounded regarding the true actual application of such a constrained restrictive method during training. The entire dynamics of true Rollkur, seems completely counterproductive. I understand the difference in R vs long & low stretching, working into the bit softly & connected. It feels right. But I cannot find the purpose in true Rollkur. Very different than kindly softly in a snaffle, connecting & softening, and encouraging painless productive exercise. How does binding a horse up forcefully, for extended periods of time, produce desired results. I used to watch Cowboys rig up their horses similar, & put them in a stall like that, to stand for hours. Stupid fkers.
