Foster’s voice is smoothly smooth and music to my ears. A fine presentation.

He is an amazing artist who depicted loneliness with depth even nostalgia. The show at the Whitney was incredible, saw it 4 tines

I recently told someone how knowing about the NYC streets of the time really helped me appreciated "Nighthawks". For example, the diner would not be serving beer or other alcohol, even ten years after Prohibition, although the patrons might have their own flasks. The loneliness of that time and place was mainly a sober one, I think the painting expresses that.

This is terrific. How does one get to tour Hopper's Washington Square studio?
@w.m.aslam-author5 жыл бұрын
Thank you for sharing this tour. I've been inspired by Hopper's artwork and now attempting my own 'Hopperesque' painting.

Good luck, how is painting going
@w.m.aslam-author Жыл бұрын
@@julianaferrone8734 I've decided to do an interpretation of Hopper's Lighthouse Hill, only using oil paint and my own pastiche painting technique. It's going really well.

Is that a Maine painting? Or Cape Cod. Send a pic!
@w.m.aslam-author Жыл бұрын
@@julianaferrone8734 It's the 1927 Maine painting, Cape Elizabeth. I'm far from finished. Oils can take weeks to dry in between coats.
