My childhood ended. This is one of those pieces that encapsulates it. There are many, but....the power of it also captures my anguish. It is a hard thing to age. Harder than these feeble words can convey in a simple phrase or terminated statement. Let the power of this music tell it. The wanting...the longing....the pain of loss....the wishing against all the laws of reality...against any god....to just....get it back. Some of it. All of it. The feeling, or the time. The feeling now, the time then....whatever warped interpretation you want. The truest human heart and mind can handle every age they reach,....go on and love their life through all the deaths, the loss of friends and family and the constant degradation of the world around them. But,...being Gandhi is a long road, or whatever enlightened hero you like. It's pain and sadness and....heartbreak. My heart! And my eyes burn...for what was. It was beautiful.

I'm 39 and this was the first movie I ever saw in the theater. I remember it like it was yesterday. This movie and soundtrack will always be apart of me. 😊❤

This is one of the very great movies. The music, Johny Depp's action and the finale are all the best. I have see this movie some 3-4 times.The last part somewhat resembles the last scene of the movie Titanic. Best movie with Danny Elfman's music.

This song in particular makes me feel so nostalgic, Because It transports me to My Childhood when i was watching the TV without any worries, just being, without expectations, when my parents weren't broken. I always admired the girl's feeling of freedom, while the song was playing. Someday I will dance under The snow So free from everything

Sometimes i listen too this in the rain and wonder where my life is heading and i get depressed and happy at the same time about my childhood and now being an adult and how magical them time were.. All i can do is make sure my childrens are magical too i guess :)

I really understand what you meant. But, come to think of it, maybe he wouldn't do such wonderful things without his scissors. As sad as it is, like Kevin said, if he had hands, he'd be like everyone else. I think the reflection that the film proposes is precisely this, we all have our particularities and unique characteristics that we should embrace, but the others will not always accept or view this favorably.

wife walked down the aisle to this we had 2 things one the cereomny and the other the legal part, first time she walked down to bbs theme and this time this song, i loved this movie it was my childhood, we really bonded over things like this and even 14 years later we still do, i hope everyone meets someone like my wife (but not my wife she is mine)
