3:12? How divide the circles

By using the radius of the circle and separating into 6 parts.(step A) Then find the midway point of the divided section by using your compass and extending it beyond the midway point by eyeball. And make a circle(with estimated compass pass midway) from each point of the 6 marks extending away from the circle. Then repeat at each mark. Then repeating going the opposite direction of circle( so clockwise and counterclockwise) where the lines cross or bisect eachother outside of the circle is the midway point connect the bisect marks to the tangent of the outer circle. Repeat step a from in between new marks. This is called bisecting a line. How it differs from doing it on a plain line compared to a angled line or circle is by extending the bisected line to the outer edge(tangent) of the circle through the center
