i used to want to be validated by people. it was like this huge thing for me. i used to imagine that some stranger in a store would tell me something profound about myself...basically, to tell me who i was. like, they were some psychic or something and they got some message from spirit and felt compelled to pass it along to me. i haven't thought about that in a loooong time, but it came back to me while listening. it seems ridiculous now, and i don't look outside myself for validation anymore. i look inside for what i 'need': acceptance, love, understanding, etc. anyway, this is really helpful and i'll have to listen a few more times, i think. thank you, Edward.💖

@@Sussana13 It's a paradox. You believe in yourself by asking to believe in yourself, but according to mystics, to ask is to be thankful for already having what it seems you do not have. If I think of something that puts me in a good mood, life will give me things that appear to be the source of that happiness. If I pretend that I know what I want, and I use my imagination to write a story that implies that I have it, even if I never specify what it is, nature will rush in to fill that vacuum--so long as I've found the feeling. If you read books or watch TV, or listen to music and feel something, then all you have to do is use those feelings to tell your story of how it felt after you got everything you want. You could make the soundtrack of your life, and every day add more songs. You can make a vision board from scenes of your favorite films. You just have to find the feeling of the wish fulfilled and keep dwelling in that mood until it takes on a life of its own. Holding onto the feeling is like learning how to swim or ride a bike.

“Your Self contains everything.” ♥ This video and your teachings/explanations here are absolutely perfect, Edward! It is quite unfortunate that people fall into that way of needing the outside “permission”, validation, and conditions. I totally relate to how you have felt before; unsafe in the world and unsafe in yourself. And it is absolute truth that when we need another person to validate us, we have abandoned ourselves. I did that a lot when I was younger/late teens-early 20s. I feel that when you come from a horrible nightmare of a childhood you are conditioned to chronically abandon yourself and search for that outside “hope” really it is hope not just validation. I abandoned myself to the point of destruction… and from that destruction I really learned NEVER to allow that to happen ever again. Lately, if I ever get a little lost or feel deeply disheartened, I always think of you. This happened to me recently in situations that provoked my feelings of anger and injustice. And I have realized how much calmer I am around it, now. When I want to respond to the outside ignorance/bullshit I always remind myself that there is literally no reason to put all that energy into that response/reaction and I don’t even believe my response would cause immense change or make a true impact, so I am only hurting myself. Nothing exists outside of me. So, all that I see is only a reflection of what I have Allowed, of the State in which I have chosen to dwell. If we want change it has to come from the Inner Man in Imagination. It can not come from the outside. It will never come from the outside. It is always from within. And I totally get how difficult it can feel for people to switch to that new mind frame when everything around them feels like it is turning to shit but we have to stay focused and clear our minds. Our intense negative reaction to the Outside world only hurts us. We must simply “Imply” like Neville said ♥ Imply we are who we want to be. But also we have to be honest with ourselves and properly examine our Self Concept and the State from which we are creating/Imagining. We have to do our best to alter that so that we may alter reality. “Nothing comes from without. All things come from within.” ~ #NevilleGoddard ♥ Random Side Note: The main guy in this painting, standing above the pool, has great hair! Lol Also, a cool outfit. Love the quote you included from Neville in the description box! Thank you again and again♥ Have a Beautiful day, our Beautiful Edward ♥

Edward my case I wanted to manifest my love. But lot of fears accumulated her memories. So I imagined and tried to be in those states. States were temporary, pleasant experiences were temporary, fears were predominant. I wanted a permanent solution to be a state for as long as i wanted. Now solution i found is to “exude love unconditionally” ie loving without expectation of being loved back. That’s it. It was the fuckin solution to all my fears and temporary states. [I know Edward has hundreds of comments but maybe someone else who listens to him or Neville will have some insight to share with me] I’m sure others have been where I’m at: I feel pretty great most of the time, and I’ve even had the… not thrill per se but the delight? maybe? Of witnessing miracles of my own making! The issue is they’re always “accidental” or “small.” I believe the reason is because I wasn’t so attached to the state that came before them, if that makes sense. The car on our road trip was fixed for incredibly cheap (almost nothing) and within an hour of being damaged (despite the conditions and context of the situation) because I was able to shift into the state of not worrying about it without a second thought- I’ve even been able to heal my body incredibly fast this way. Like miraculously fast, if I use the Law. Which is just astounding to me, in that weird quiet way that these manifestations astound the one who wields them. But the state of say, my relationship with myself has barely shifted in the external world because I am attached/keep returning to the old state sometimes without even noticing! I know we’re compelled to “persist!” But I feel like sometimes my persisting actually implies the opposite of the new state! Flummoxing. I’ve noticed the less I think about it, (ie. “This is the way it is, and I won’t bother thinking or worrying about it any longer”) the quicker and more reliable it seems to go. I think I’m at a bit of a loss as to how to apply that with things that are constantly brought to my attention, or that run subconsciously such that, if I revert to old state of thinking, it happens without my attention at all! The usual stuff that seems “big” until you change it: relationship with self, others, appearance, money, yadda yadda If anyone has some wisdom for me, even if it’s just “keep doing what you’re doing,” I’ll be sure to use it! Thanks
@valdeinaify Жыл бұрын
Hi there, I'm not an expert by any means, but I've had such a similar experience to the things you've described above. I can manifest easily and quickly the things that seem "small", and there is the "big" thing that I seem to always manifest the opposite of. It was in this video particularly that helped me the most: give to yourself what you want from others. We place conditions on the "big" things. Remove those completely. You are worthy of everything right now. You are already loved and worthy of love right now. Don't look to anything on the outside for these things or proof that you are worthy. Give to your inner man and keep returning there. Dwell there, live there, and don't just "vacation" there. It takes practice, but keep persisting. Give yourself time and patience. Gently return your attention to your inner world. I hope this helps you.
