Hi. How did you find out about sunrise check in? We can’t find any info about it online xx

@@sarahlamb2387 you can leave the airport once you’re checked in (before going through security). we were staying right across the road from Manchester T2 so got to the check in desk just before it opened at 7am and we were the first there. As long as you’re checked in for your flight you don’t need to be on the other side of security until 1 hour before you fly so we went back to the hotel for our breakfast and to chill. I wouldn’t advising leaving only 1 hour incase security lines are long and/or you want to shop or use toilets before you board. We went 2 hours before (which is what they suggest for short haul as oppose to the 4 hours for long haul.) Hope this helps

Hey. We are a family of 4 who’ve been to Disney the last 3 years- I am looking at next year but we will have a third child then with us. The price has shot up for a family of 5 😢. We usually book with TUI? Can you recommend how you do it?

@@JessicaHudson1 sure! So we fly from Manchester and typically aer lingus is the cheapest to fly with for us. We pay around £3K for flights for 5 of us and price them all the time throughout the year to get some good deals. Search them in incognito mode so it doesn’t track your searches and up the cost. These particular flights we booked on Boxing Day in the boxing day sales. In terms of actually being there we always stay at a value resort (one of the all stars) because we don’t car hire and Disney transport saves a lot of money on taxi fares. However the family rooms are almost double the cost (yikes). Luckily we went with extended family so one of our kids could be down as staying in someone else’s room. However this time we forgot to add his name onto the other room. There’s so many people coming in and out of the resort nobody even noticed and it was only when looking back at the paperwork to claim on our insurance at home we actually noticed our mistake. If your children are young enough to share beds then it might be some food for thought. If your child is young enough for a cot though you won’t need a family room. We didn’t get a dining plan because it worked out cheaper to not. Instead we set aside a certain amount of dollars which we wanted to allocate towards food/drink. On arrival day we bought a Disney gift card and loaded all our food money onto it so we knew we were safe to spend without dipping into our food money. Portions are so big we got 3 adult meals and split it between the 5 of us once a day. Meals are generally $15.00. If we got hungry we would buy a snack or even pack a snack for the day but honestly the heat made us not want to eat all that much. We went to Walmart and got cereal or pop tarts and made the kids eat breakfast in the hotel room before we even left for the parks. (Brought bowls and spoons from home) We worked out taxi fare before we went it’s around $50 from all stars to any major park or mall. Cheaper for an uber. We allocated enough money towards taxis and put it in a separate wallet or bank account so we could just use that without worrying about spending our transport money. Any left over spends was for merchandise or whatever else. Hope this helps!

I almost forgot, book your holidays, tickets, flights everything with Quido or another cashback site. We use Quidco all the time, we do a lot of online shopping - even weekly food shops are bought through Quidco and throughout the year it racked up enough money to buy the five of us tickets to mickeys not so scary Halloween party.
