I must admit that this song really touch me in a sad way. He is such a professional that even though he was overwhelmed with emotion, he still hung in to the end. It even ended with a little humor. This man is truly underrated.

This is very touching and fitting tribute by a fellow bard. It also shows that the "Prince" can up his tempo.. a wonderful song in its own right for the occasion, by a calypso poet master.

THE FIRST TIME WATCHING THIS I WAS REALLY MOVE BY BLACK PRINCE PAYING HOMAGE TO THE MIGHTY MERCHANT. ESPECIALLY WHEN HE PLACE DOWN TO GUITAR....STAND UP WITH THE MIC. I MUST ADMIT I SHED A FEW TEARS. EMOTIONAL PERFORMANCE FROM****THE KING OF CALYPSO BLUES.
