Look at the sour taste left in boxing fans mouths after mayweather v pacman, most are watching ufc now, we are being told we are in the era of the the best boxer ever?!?! Valero would have flattened pac man before floyd and so floyd would have retired years ago out of fear. Valero was a flawed genius, a tortured soul. Its a pity he did not get help or some medication to help beat his demons. This guy could have went 40-0 with 40 knockouts. Such a sad sad shame what happened.
@MrAnonymous6508 жыл бұрын
+Niall O Callaghan nah... look at him how he throw his punches... pacman is not a steady target.. he'll bob and wave and side step Mr Valero.. Valero had top notched punching power though. any 1 he hit will probably be wobbled instantly.. I think the only reason why Pacman and Valero never fought is because of money.. there were other boxers that would generate more money if pacman fought them like the 3 great mexicans in that era, Barrera, Morales & Marquez..
@johnanimex.13348 жыл бұрын
+Niall O Callaghan cotto hatton mosley margarito will kill valero easily,and u think he will beat manny..ur a dumbass
@niallocallaghan56998 жыл бұрын
john animex Nah, you know jack shit, pacman stopped cotto and he was never the same after margarito, and hatton wouldnt have stopped valero, good fight with a prime hatton (vs tszyu etc) though. Margarito would end up the same as in the pacman fight, out maneuvered. You really need to watch the documentary about valero and his dedication to training and the fact he was wobbled just once by one of two brothers whom he sparred with his whole life. You clearly didnt watch his fights right the way up to his title win. What's his record? Yeah it's sick. If you cant see the nuances to his fighting style and respect his speed and power then your just biased and dumb. He was a flawed genius however and it was pacman suggested that he was probably murdered in his cell after his horrible act.
@niallocallaghan56998 жыл бұрын
Roland Tecson I rate manny very highly and really hoped he got the floyd fight on fair terms much sooner than he did, it should have been after the hatton fight, he had beaten cotto at that stage too i think. However in a fight with Valero, I think manny cant take his power as much as valero could take his, records, ko losses and some of the unbeaten and never been knocked down before fighters that valero steamrolled... I think it would be an extremely entertaining fight and even a genuine 50/50 depending on how manny copes with his power, valero is very intense and relentless and holds holds his power whilst getting caught in exchanges.
@naligsEkr8 жыл бұрын
+Rolando Fortson You need to watch his last fight against Antonio DeMarco. If there was criticism of Valero it was his defence but he knew how important the DeMarco fight was so in that fight, basically his American debut, he had really improved his game! If you listen to the commentary they describe his style as "like the old + new Pacquaio"! He didn't fight Pacquaio cause he was murdered 2 months after beating DeMarco.

Looked like JCC Sr. All action style like Pac. KO power of fighters divisions above him. What a fucking waste, he would have been in some exciting super fights. At the end of the day though taking somebody else's life is absolutely fucked up. His wife was fucked from the day she married him, people can say she could have left him but he continuously put his wife in the hospital prior to murdering her, she probably would've died sooner if she tried to leave. Demons or bad nature whatever was going on with him... their should have been something inside of his mind to have thought about the poor kids.

+DEANOSAUR You sound like you know enough about the tragedy...did you ever read/hear any details that made you question his guilt? Did you know about the previous drive by shooting in front of their home where wife got shot in leg? The evening before his wife's murder Valero reported to a police booth that he + his wife were being followed in their car- Valero feared a kidnapping. The police advised them to go to that specific motel. Valero was passed out, booze + drugs, + awoke to find her dead. In jail he was in shock, crying, saying " I need to talk to someone." He was confused and upset. His supposed suicide watch- he went in to cell wearing sweatpants + found hanging by blue jeans with the picture he had of him and his family shoved deep down his throat. Do you still think Valero in 100 % guilty???? Even tho it's 6 years too late- NEED TO DO INVESTIGATION!!! I don't believe his soul can rest peacefully til his name is cleared????
@naligsEkr8 жыл бұрын
+DEANOSAUR People are talking lately about the controversy surrounding the Valero tragedy. If you read up on it you'll find that Valero used to be "the enforcer" in a gang + always associated with drug dealers. There was a "drive-by" in front of his house before + he was being targeted by someone. The night his wife was murdered they stopped at a roadside police stop to report they were being followed + police told them to go to that motel. He was out cold from coke + vodka + woke to find his wife murdered. He told them at the jail that he thought he was being set up. Then president Hugo Chavez had allowed Valero out of a court ordered 6 month stay, at rehab for drugs + alcohol, after only being there 1 week. I believe when Valero's wife was murdered Chavez's allowing Valero's early release would be revealed + he didn't want that so he had guards murder Valero. A guy, whose uncle worked as a guard at the jail Valero died in, wrote me -he said Valero was murdered by the guards.
