This channel is a nice change of pace from all the uber-tacticool KZbin LARPers pretending like WW3 is just around the corner and taking themselves so seriously on the internet. The whole “let’s see how many pumpkins this cool rifle can blast through while we laugh and have fun” brings a smile to my face. I think we need that every once in a while.. especially when in the United States, everyone seems to be making themselves as angry, scared and frustrated as possible these days.

In the US Army patrolling we often muzzled others when we met with other groups. Only non veterans worry about pointing a rifle at someone else as if they are worrying about the rifle doing something without pulling the trigger. The safety alone is good enough.

The 5.45 is actually a skinnier round than the 5.56. 5.45 is a .207 cal bullet ish, and the 5.56 is a .224 cal. But the 5.45 is longer and hits with more kinetic energy because of that length. It's more weight in a smaller contact area
@tombats64282 ай бұрын
So SD and BC do not affect the bullet?
@wickdghost36392 ай бұрын
@@tombats6428 no it does, but they are two completely different bullets and the way the bullets react on target is completely different. It's like 2x4 vs 2x6. The 2x6 is stronger because it has more material top to bottom when stood on end, vs the 2x4. The 5.45 is longer and holds up for more destruction

Ammo selection between the two should be closer. 55gr 5.56 v 65gr 5.45x39 not that close. Yes, the 5.45x39 in this case will penetrate further only due to velocity and weight. The slower the projectile the more penetration. The 5.56 55gr is designed to deliver the energy on impact and shred or flatten and curve to cause damage. Also, the 5.56 has about a 200 fps velocity advantage to deliver energy, not penetration. 5.56 is a Varment round after all. The 5.45x39 has a slower round and heavier projectile for penetration.
