Takes me back decades to when I was with Philips and studying Electronics Engineering. My mentor then was a very tough task-master and I could have easily strangled him in those days. However he taught well and was also patient. He did me a favor by hammering knowledge into my head that I remember to this day. And though he retired some 14 years ago we remain good personal friends. You sir remind me in many ways to my one time boss and mentor. And there's great reward in passing on one's knowledge to those that wish to learn. After retiring from the Military, I now teach English and History ( as my primary subjects ) Electronics will always be in my blood, and continue to have involvement in it, yet I am lucky to be alive after poking my mothers crotchet needle into an AC mains power point when I was 2 years old ( Must have acquired a taste for electricity then )

I also learned from an old Philips, Eindhoven, engineer, even if only for a week. And it was a life time (or two) ago. English and History are two of my childhood favourite topics. My dad and I would drive thousands of miles, very often driving all night, and he would share long narratives (that was his way of "telling history") on Philosophy, History and Anthropology. To H and E, Mathematics took precedence in my child's toybox. But that was only until I discovered how Physics used Math to describe the world around is, and much much later, Engineering to wrap it all into applications to make our brief stay on this planet as pleasurable as possible. There is a quid pro quo. You shared a little, I share a little. Heh. Many thanks for posting. Sorry for taking so long to respond.

The sources do. If all the sources are DC, it's DC analysis. If they are AC ... well. If you have both types, you use superposition (There is a video about that in this channel).
