couple tips for the nebula grind, one is that if you get an abomination while killing elites, wait till you can save and exit and reload the match. each time you reload that save you have a chance of getting either a mangler or an abomination, and the enemy type will stay the same until you quit out. second, make sure you have the augment for speed cola that settles the box more quickly equipped, it makes switching guns mid round a million times easier.

I just unlocked it and I can say it’s worth it but boy oh boy was it so mind numbing. Those Opal kills were so astronomically long. Once I got to the afterlife challenges it was such a breath of fresh air and it took me like a few hrs and I unlocked nebula challenges. Crazy.

Long enough getting 2k headshots on all the guns I need for me lol I’ve only done like 12 guns playing for about 2 weeks few hours a day. This double xp weekend was great I learnt that socondary glitch to get higher damage and swap knife for a gun. Round 30 on rage inducer was kinda easy because the guns are strong😁

BO4 Zombies also had a mastery camo grind too! It was just the same Dark Matter as MP because the masteries were tied to the mode you were playing (MP, zombies, or blackout) and had to be individually unlocked for each mode.

Nebula was a crazy grind and I enjoyed it. I only complain about the Opal grind. 30 mangler kills times 33 guns is insane. Luckily, I can survive high rounds and directed came right in time for 1 mangler every round 11 on Liberty falls. I never want to grind that many manglers again. I think it took me watching through season 1 of game of thrones to complete it.

I've never been more bored on a grind in my life, at least in Cold War you were kinda playing zombies normally. With Directed mode, Nebula just becomes rooftop sitting simulator for a week straight lmfao

Compared to other zombie camo grinds it's definitely the shortest. The main time sink for the other games was leveling the weapon, especially for Vanguard if you decide to do all that in Zombies. I think the longest would probably have to be BO4. You needed thousands of headshots (with quite a few weapons getting explosive rounds, too) and thousands more kills for the other camo challenges. And unlike the other games, you can't start with any weapon you want, you need to grind your life away on the box to get mystery box exclusive weapons, which were saturated with DLC weapons, too.

doing opal is way quicker if you fully progress the easter egg to where you can start the final fight when you start it kill the 3 manglers then save and quit when you load back in finish the round and repeat way quicker than round 11

on round 15, if the spawned elite is the mangler, those kills do count towards the opal grind. I just grind headshots on another gun while I grind opal on the other gun.

HUGE TIP for the Abomination’s: Get the Power Drill to PaP III + Legendary rarity. If you mêlee it, it does 15k damage, get it to low HP and shoot it with ur weapon. Much quicker than wasting ammo + time :)

the gs45 and the lr sniper were the longest by far because they shoot explosives when pack a punched, so you can't pack a punch then whenever you go for headshots. the launchers were definitely the easiest.

I grinded through Orion. I'm very use to pain, suffering and mind numbing tedium (seriously fuck those longshots). I eventually will get Dark Matter, I got Diamond AR's within the first few days of launch, but my lobbies devolved into SBMM hell. Plus I do think Nebula is the better camo, and it's the longest yet easiest so I said fuck it and started casually going for it a week or two ago. I have a few classes Opal. AR's, Smg's, shotty's and just now Lmg's. Gold snipers and pistols even with directed are gonna give me brain damage...wish me luck boys.

that's what i did for most of the grind, but it definitely is faster doing it in the normal mode for headshots but it's a lot more chilled out (and boring) to do it on Directed. I still did directed for most of my headshots just because it couldn't be bothered playing the game properly lmao
