Go and read Luke 9:51-56 prayerfully. It will be very good if you use the King James Version of the Bible because the verse 54 and 55 brings out the revelation of the two dispensations. That is the dispensation or mission of the Old Testament Prophets like Elijah and the New Testament dispensation. Check how Jesus REBUKED his disciples for asking permission to call down fire to destroy the people JUST AS ELIJAH DID. Take note of how they referred to Elijah as their example and how Jesus made them aware that they are of a different spirit (in other words, they were living under a different dispensation with a different mission which is to save but not to destroy) Elijah was right for what he did in the Old Testament because it was part of the mission that God gave to him when he was called (which is to judge the people for going against the will of God). However, for us Christians, we have been called by God per the vision and mission of Jesus Christ. The vision and mission is to SAVE people not to DESTROY people. Consequently any Christian who goes against this mission by cursing people like what Opambour has been doing is liable for questioning on the day of judgment. Check if the earlier Apostles were found constantly cursing people for attacking them personally. Don't forget that the earlier Apostles were not only insulted but also attacked physically and killed but none of them behaved like Opambour. Even Apostle Paul who cursed someone did so because the person was opposing the spreading of the gospel but not because he was personally being insulted or attacked. Even with that, he said the person should be blind only for 6 months. He couldn't curse him with death and destruction and extended it to his family and friends like what Opambour keeps doing because Apostle Paul knew that he would face judgment and condemnation of Christ if his words goes out to destroy people. I can confidently say with all authority that Opambour is in great error and Jesus would question him on judgement day for misusing the grace he gave him if only he is of God. If you are part of those Christians who love cursing people then be warned because our mission is different. BE WARNED! BE WARNED!! BE WARNED!!! because you would be questioned on judgment day for calling for the destruction of the very people whom Jesus Christ went through so much pain to save. Stop using the example of the Old Testament prophets to authenticate and authorise your error because none of those prophets went through so much pain and suffered crucifixion to save mankind like Jesus Christ. It is absolute "foolishness" and a big disrespect to Jesus Christ to ask him to curse the very person he suffered sooooo much to save when he has given you power to preach the gospel to save that person. Let us stop using the examples of Old Testament prophets because none of those prophets suffered the painful death of crucifixion with the purpose of saving mankind. I repeat: It is absolute foolishness and high disrespect to Jesus Christ to ask Him to destroy the very person he suffered to save.
