This performance made me an Eels fan. I had never heard of them until this performance and I was hooked from then on. I now hold the Eels dear to my heart and consider their music (and marks) to be some of the greatest written music of our time, certainly in the last 40 years. Thank you Eels for making art in an industry so bent on mindless crap.
