I believe it was negligent to do a cosmetic rhinoplasty on a 13 year old whose nose was not finished growing.

@@gavinsatrohan6702 she said she couldn’t breathe until AFTER the rhinoplasty she had when she was younger, not before. She came to Dr.Nassif to fix the damage the previous surgery had done. And she was not abnormal, she had a hook shaped nose it is very common, she simply thought it was unattractive. Regardless a child of 13 is too young for a cosmetic surgery on a nose that was functioning just fine, Dr.Nassif himself said 13 was too young. It is fine to do when you are an adult but for a parent to not only allow it so young but to encourage it is very irresponsible. If you paid any attention to the the video ,which I suspect you did not, you would see what I’m talking about.

@@ariellemayaali yea, plus it was different times, and they didn't know as many of the long term effects, either. the mom thought she was helping her daughter escape the pain she was in. I don't have children, but I imagine it's gut wrenching to watch them suffer.

It is amazing she has empty nose syndrome fixed! This condition is not much known outside medical community and can lead to very serious mental health conditions - including people that had suicide because couldn't live with the suffocating sensation. Well done, dr. Nassif!

if I were to guess, I'd say the mom was insecure of her own nose and felt guilty about passing it down to her daughter. I really think she didn't want her daughter to hate her nose like she did, but went about it in the wrong way
