Diana context or not, it doesn't sound like a good idea to say something like that at your workplace or to your boss's family. Don't get too cozy & comfortable that you forgot your place as an employee, and honestly think it's safe to practically say you're not happy at your job/don't want to be there. Confide something like that to somebody who has no connection to your job or the industry. Her job has no room for advancement, so "unfulfilled" is code for job hunting/looking to quit. If such is true, better convey that to the boss directly or keep that under tight wraps; never let your boss find out indirectly.

Not crossing that line is obviously for very good logical and professional reasons.. It's not treating an assistant you *employ* , as 'lesser than' , It's a job they are paid to do, not a brown nosing, popularity contest. And to assume assistants are mistreated/ frowned upon by their *employer*, bc they're not BFFs, is unfair, ignorant, and totally shocking to a bewildering point. Any employee has the right to express to their boss, no matter who their boss is, that they are interested in bettering themselves without fear of being fired. What do you not understand about that. What happened was TMZ put out a thing showing Stephanie next to Kim and they were all saying how absolutely gorgeous Stephanie is and a lot of the employees of TMZ said she was way better looking than Kim. Only after that was aired on TV did Kourtney and Kim have this talk about Stephanie. Can you understand what actually happened now? I'm guessing you didn't watch that episode of TMZ. Steph should have known better end of the day Kourtney and Kim are sisters. You never say anything work wise to your boss's sister regardless of friendship. Steph should have had a guard up with Kourtney on certain things to discuss. Kourtney could have kept quite as Steph was talking to her as a friend.

Say what you want but I saw a few clips of the show from 3 years ago and I have to say 1 thing that happened is they made the recent seasons more real. I noticed something was changing with Life of Kylie, when they do give you a more backstage look, but overall you can see somebody in there pushed to finally move KUWTK from being totally staged (look at the clips from 2014!) to actually showing their lives. I think this clip is a testimony to that as well, they're actually talking about stuff that is happening, not coming up with stories. They probably realized how ridiculous the show was getting.
