Heidi saying her relationship with God means she doesn't need someone else to give messages... it's not about "needing", it's about honoring gifts that are given BY God & to be able to have that sort of connection to God/Source & share it with others, is just as valid. Heidi & Spencer must have a very interesting relationship/marriage, considering she is more religious & he is definitely more spiritual. Heidi also became much more superficial after The Hills, at least what I'd observed from what I did watch of it & her. So it's not a surprise that she has this wall/resistance to things of a more spiritual nature - she probably thinks that she gets her fix through Spencer - & it's interesting to see how Spencer went a different route with his identity as well.

Agreed. I don't know much about Heidi Montag, but she is *very easy* to dislike here. She was so rude to Tyler and how she thinks that is supporting her husband I will never know. She couldn't wait to get out of there. It's almost as if she is confronted by the fact that a medium can connect to people who've passed on and it must challenge her belief system in a threatening manner. Honestly, to treat a guest so coldly like that in your home like that who has been invited to be there is just unacceptable and such a display of poor manners and upbringing.

Right? I also know she left a couple times to check on their son but they could have hired someone to do that for the hour he was there or get a family member to watch over. It could have also avoided checking the baby monitor on her phone so often as well. It's just rude to not pay attention to a special guest. Her focus is so physical & she personally, wasn't going to benefit from making any sort of connection, for that reason. So why have her present, if she wasn't allowing herSelf to be open to the experience? It seems like Spirit made sure the baby kept her occupied, since her presence wasn't going to be of value to anyone there. Spencer actually seemed to be the most accepting & openminded; & he was moreso excited & intrigued by what Tyler does. Heidi wouldn't have taken this opportunity if it was just her. I don't think she understands how healing it is sometimes, for people to get closure around certain loved ones passing & I agree that she is probably too afraid of what she doesn't understand & doesn't want to believe that people have the gift of tapping into the energy of others.

The Bible warns believers not to seek out mediums, so it’s not that people don’t believe he can do it, it’s that they may feel it’s not a good idea to be read. My understanding of the scriptures is that some things are meant for heaven and God to reveal to us, and that these gifts can be used inappropriately (not by Tyler, just saying in general).

Tyler is a sweet, kind, compassionate, authentic person who has a connection to spiritual energy which allows him to experience impressions and feelings from that energy to other interested, trusting and worthy people. People who appreciate his gift and want to open up themselves to being able to understand this impressions and feelings too. With instincts and with other ways. My auntie has been my proof since I was a child…she use to see angels in the sky when she was young and she still see spirits til this day. She got a sign when my mom passed and even before my mom passed she talked to god to try to save her and he told her the decision was final. She’s not a medium, but she has to the ability to speak to God and gets answers from him (which she chooses not to). I remember she said she asked him a why question… and he asked her “Do she wanna know when my other auntie is gonna die” and she said she never asked him another why question again.

My heart goes out to the family. I truly know how that feels. My brother was in a snowmobile accident and stranded up in the mountains during a white out. No one knew which area he was on. And he was out there for a couple days and died of hypothermia. As well as injuries. So the pain of that is unimaginable. I pray they heal really quickly

The one who seems closeted to me is Spencer (and yes he is hippy dippy and free spirited). Heidi seems like a fairly rigid, closed off person with rigid thinking. She clearly did not want to give her husband a kiss and couldn't have backed her head further away from him. Very mismatched couple in my subjective opinion.

That's a little bit like asking why ESPN doesn't interview musicians. Guess what? ESPN is a sports network not a music network. That's why they don't interview musicians. It seems you don't understand what this network is about or why they created a show about celebrities when they are a celebrity network. Oh, and he just did read for a non-celebrity. The last reading was pretending to be for Heidi Montag and her husband Spencer Pratt. However, if you paid attention this was really about Pratt being able to get free advertising for his line of crystals, and get his mother the actual reading. Heidi was only there for a few minutes and she disappeared and never came back. She didn't even greet him when he arrived at their home. This was NOT a reading for that celebrity couple, they essentially duped E! Entertainment into promoting Spencer Pratt's line of crystals and getting his mother a reading. Tyler began as a teenager reading people in his tiny hometown in central California until he became so famous in his remote little town that word spread several hours away to LA.
