That was going to be the next signal to run, until the logic board decided to have a seizure at the end of the all clear tone lmao. I'm sure I'll probably play around with this same setup again on the 4th of July, although there's always a chance that I might be able to squeeze in a very brief (like, 10-second) cycle of the gas proof protection tone at some point later in the afternoon on a test day or something.

I can't get over the way the 2020 sounds like it's gargling when it makes those tones. lol. I was going to sound off my siren for the New Year, but Mother Nature had other plans. I did a special test with it though. I should have the video up tomorrow.

That particular 2020 is a real problem child. 😂 The tone tends to flutter pretty bad at least a couple of times while running in its native 450Hz alert signal, along with having the typical 2020 "clipping" effect as the tones ramp up/down. I'm hoping to have the board sent back for repairs at some point this year, and hopefully it'll come back with a much more stable 560Hz tone set after the firmware is updated. The digital 864 tone generator performs way better with that omni array anyway, plus I'm much more partial to that old school 465Hz sound as well, so the motivation to sink some money into fixing up that 2020 isn't quite as strong as it used to be! Can't wait to see what you've come up with, especially considering it involves an Arduino and looks fun lol
