Thank you Misty and Mark for this amazing historical trip. I loved every part of your visits especially the mural on the Levi House and the well! In elementary school I did a report on Harriet Tubman and The Underground Railroad and always wondered what kind of lives were lived by those who escaped. Please do more of these videos of places that I would never see any other way!👍😍

Wow...what a great video - thanks! My parents and all their relatives were born and raised in Richmond and Fountain City. In the 70's and 80's my granny would drive us up north of Fountain City to visit relatives out in the country. I used to go to Poor Jack carnivals in Cambridge City on our way from Indy to Richmond on 40. Cambridge City also had a drive-in on 40 that had Tenderloin sandwiches. I know US-27 very well. If you go south of Richmond on US-27 to Elkhorn Cemetery (sits up on a hill surrounded by woods) - that's where most of my dad's relatives are buried. That's also where Wayne County's first schoolhouse was. I remember the mummy at hte museum - my granny used to talk about it all the time and we saw it once For Richmond that was a big deal. If you get a chance - take US-27 south a ways to College Corner, take a left turn in town and visit Hueston Woods State Park Lodge just over the Ohio state line. The lodge there is AWESOME. The Indian murals are as well. I visited there many times growing up. Richmond had a bad downtown gas explosion in teh 60's that blew people over buildings - my granny remembers hearing it from her back porch! Thanks!

Another great video Misty. I very much enjoyed it. Seeing one of the houses of The Underground Railroad was incredible! The well was awesome! I loved the Gennett recording "studio," and the Egyptian part of the museum. It was great to hear Mark's engineering-background take on the big-wheel bicycle. I always wondered what the deal was with that massive wheel! It was hilarious when you referred to your favorite part of the museum and Mark asked, faking surprise, "It's not the rat boy?" In addition to a fun education, you guys provide the kind of information that would be very helpful to someone wanting to take the same trip. 👏🏽👏👏🏼👏🏽👏🏼🙂🙂🙂
