I just came across a sweet little comic. A poor little Shiny Eevee got abandoned by their mother because its sparkly gray coat makes it stand out too much to predators, leaving the poor thing struggling to survive. You just find them lying around on the ground, but you can also buy them in Delibird Presents for 3,000 dollars in Scarlet and Violet, but you can't buy them in Sword and Shield. You only find them on the ground.
