@@elainamadden2101 I’m not sure about requesting them. I know some tour guides in the past told us which future trips they’d be leading in case we wanted to go with them. Let me find out more about it for you.

I hiked to the top of the "Horn" (the pyramid shaped rock) which is the highest point over the Valley of the Kings and the view from the top is pretty incredible. I also walked the trail on top of the cliff behind Hatshepsut's temple and looking down on it from above was also amazing.

@@yllaramaia I don't have that camera anymore but if you look online for photos from people who have taken hot air balloon flights over the valley and temple you can get an idea of what the view looks like. I don't think they allow people to the top anymore but some baksheesh to the guys up in the guard shack would probably get them to look the other way. If I ever go back to Egypt I will wait until the end of the trip and pick a clear night/early morning with a full or nearly full moon and climb the great pyramid either by moon light or with a night vision device to be able to watch the sunrise from the top. That would be a pretty epic way to end the trip and worth getting arrested/deported for.

Hey girl!! I'm wanting to book this exact trip. You've had the best review I've seen on this tour!! Do you know if the tour usually sticks to the same restaurants? and what are the odds of me getting the same tour guide you got.. also last Q! If a current tour has some openings, are we able to see the age and gender demographics of the current people of the group scheduled to go on those tour dates?

Hey girl! Thank youuu. In terms of the TD, I think he does a lot more Go Ahead tours than Ultimate Break. I’m not sure if EF will give away the dates which that specific TD is doing a tour..that’s a good question I’ll have to dig into it. In terms of the demographics you can try to call them and ask. What I’d do is post on the travelers facebook group for the dates you’re looking to book and see if anyone is going. Typically people will respond, that way you can kind of get an idea. My group was pretty mixed in age but all girls. Majority of EF travelers are girls. And for the restaurants they typically stick to the same spots. I know someone that’s there right now actually. Let me confirm with her and I’ll get back to you!

I went in March! And I spoke to a representative today about the demographics thing. She said if it’s really important to you, they should be able to tell you the demographics of the travelers for the specific trip you’re looking to go on. I’d reach out to them over the phone!
