FOR CONTEXT: The other Arrowverse shows have been crossing over with one another for _years_ at this point. A good chunk of them are composed of characters who spun off from 'Arrow' into their own shows. But Batwoman? She hasn't done any of that. She's had one, hermetically-sealed season, and now there's a _multiverse_ _level_ _threat_ _to_ _all_ _reality_ that the writers are _desperate_ to convince us she's integral to stopping. This is the same 'Batwoman' who has, on multiple occasions, struggled to win a fistfight with a skinny girl with no powers, equipment, or training outside of being 'kooky' and having a knife sometimes. And, without giving any spoilers? IT ONLY GETS WORSE/FUNNIER FROM HERE

If you really pay attention to the fight scenes so far Batwoman has never beaten any named characters so far only henchmen. Alice fought her to a standstill in Episode 1 Kate had to be saved by Alice against Tommy Elliot in Episode 3 Kate had to be saved again by Sophie in episode 5 Kate had to be saved AGAIN by Jacob in episode 6 and finally Mouse tackles her off a balcony in Episode 8

If it was just _bad_ then they'd find Bruce, he'd be crippled, and then he'd give some speech about how Batwoman is super amazing and she can totally take his place. It'd be exactly what you'd expect of a writer(s) that wants to put their precious main character on a pedestal without having them actually earn it. But Batwoman? Oh, no. That's somehow _too_ _good_ for Batwoman. Instead- -eh. I'll let it be a surprise.

I love the fact that those of us who haven’t seen the other shows don’t need context because it’ll be just as tismy no matter what happens. Just look at the concept. Why is our favourite character, Kate “IM A WAHMEENN” Kane there? I don’t know! She’s not a hero, and even if she can pretend she is, she can’t even defeat one crazy cosplayer due to nepotism and hasn’t even established herself as some of the others like Flash and Arrow have. I also like how the one character they choose to pull out last is the one character (or one of two rather) who has a limited resource for his fighting that he's assured to die upon running out of. Why not leave Superman and Supergirl for last if you can't pull them all out at once? The ones who can kill the Ghosts by the dozens by literally breathing on them? You're not gonna tell me that those two would not have stayed behind and risked dying to save "1 Billion Souls" like Arrow did. It misses another major element of Tony Stark's death, in that what he did was a snap judgement that no one else could have pulled off at that moment (given the nano-machine gauntlet if nothing else) in time. Having everyone except Oliver leave to facilitate the death scene is entirely arbitrary within context.

Supergirl constantly overpowers her cousin, Jimmy Olsen is the size of a body builder and a lady's man, they entirely forgot about Alfred, how does the bat suit fit Kate since the cousins aren't the same height, Green Arrow learned magic at some point, where did Earth-1 present day Vixen go to, Kid Flash is just gone, Jesse Quick is on another show, I'm not touching Season 5 Flash, you could remove Stephen Amell from Arrow seasons 7 & 8 and the show wouldn't be impacted, & there tons more crap, but my personal favorite is that Ray Palmer was once one of the 2 smartest characters (himself and Eobard Thawne); not anymore they ain't.

Yeah; Kevin Conroy's really good as Batman. I haven't watched Batman: the Animated Series, but I have seen Batman Beyond, and he does a really good job as the voice of old Bruce. To be fair to Arrowverse, they aren't the first to "do Kevin Conroy dirty"; that dubious honour goes to Batman: The Killing Joke (the animated film). Incidentally, since Kevin Conroy's now over 60, I could see him playing old Bruce again in a live-action Batman Beyond, just as long as it's not made by Arrowverse…

That's not Dr.fate that is supposed to be the character Pariah who in the comics was a survivor of his universe's destruction and was unwittingly teleported to other universe's forced to watch them because he was one of the causes of the Anti-Monitor starting the crisis. All that being said that is the comic version of the character and the shows versions is almost completely unrelated. Also the "discount Loki" is Brainiac 5 a future relative of Brainiac and he's weird because smart people are anti social and weird I guess.

So. Yeah. There is absolutely no reason not to have such a trans-dimensional superheroes. And it isn't Female Lex Luthor. It's Lena Luthor, a completely original character and less interesting character.

Ugh! I never saw this. I read the original event comic and when I read that the Arrowverse was going to try to do it, my first thought was that it was impossible on a CW tv budget, and I was so right. The comic had hundreds of worlds on the line and thousands of characters in play (if you look up the George Perez drawn, Alex Ross painted cover for the 30th anniversary hardcover edition, you’d see what I mean). Harbinger looks like a frumpy, cosplaying mom and the battle at the end looked as if it was done on a 20 dollar budget. That looked so awful and, not having seen any of the Arrowverse shows in a while, I’d forgotten how bad the acting was.

But you know what in an infinite number of universes so they probably would, but how many thousands or millions of universes would you have to go through to find the right one? The point is even if you brought back a copy of someone you loved it would still be a copy and that original person would still be dead so character deaths would still matter in a way.
