Without trying to insult anyone or hurt their feelings. This entire concept of a man dying for your sins is insane. We lived for thousands and thousands of years before Jesus came. What about their salvation? Dont they matter? Now all the sudden this concept of a ManGod who came and essentially committed suicide to save you from sin is now the way? So all those people before Jesus(as) are null and void and don't matter? The more you dig into Christianity the more the falsehood you dig up. May Allah guide them

@ Christianity is not about injustice, slavery, or colonization. None of this is taught in the Bible. Stealing and selling people into slavery is condemned by the Bible (Ex. 21:16, 1 Tim. 1:10). People who claimed to be Christian have done bad things, it it doesn't mean that Christianity itself condones it. Plus, what about the injustice, slavery, and invasion of Islam throughout its history?
@keishahawkins4685 жыл бұрын
This article answers your question www.gotquestions.org/before-Jesus.html. Paul mentions in Acts 17:30-31 that now that Jesus has come, He commands that all men everywhere repent because the world will be judged by Jesus. And Jesus did not commit suicide. He willingly gave His life for others. Further, it is Islam that doesn't make sense. Islam claims to believe the same prophets as Jews and Christians, yet the Quran denies their message (Jesus clearly taught that everything about Him was prophesied in the law, prophets, and psalms in Luke 24:44, including His death, deity, and resurrection). Since the Quran denies this, none of the prophets are true, making Islam itself false.

*Jazakum-Allahu khairan and barak-Allahu-feek!! Good job brother Hamza keep it up and many greetings from Germany!👍* For the origin of the doctrine of atonement, one does not go to the teachings of Jesus, but instead to the words of Paul, the true founder of Christianity; in teachings of present Christian terms and practices. Salvation can be defined as the deliverance from sin and its penalties; the path to salvation, however, varies from one religion to another. In Christianity, salvation is found through the Doctrine of Vicarious Atonement. Since human nature is considered in Christianity to be wayward and sinful, this doctrine states that Jesus "rendered full satisfaction" to God for the sins of man through his death and resurrection. In a nutshell, Jesus took our place, and his death absolves us of our sins. This is contrary to what is found in the Torah where God says: *" ...every man shall be put to death for his own sin"* (Deut. 24:16)

I think the confusion regarding justice and forgiveness comes from not understanding the relevant parties and their relations correctly combined with a vague definition of what "sin" means. It becomes clearer when a sin against someone is understood to mean that one of the rights of this person was violated. Let us first specify who the possible parties are that have rights. The relevant parties are: 1- God 2- A person 3-The society as a whole. Whenever a party's right is transgressed upon, it has two options: a- It can choose to exercise right of recompense or punishment for the sin against it. b- It can choose to forego the sin and forgive it. Justice is served either way because the party had the option and ability to exercise punishment in both cases and it either chooses to do so or not by its own choice. Let us take an example that might clarify even more: "John stole $10 from Jack." In this case, all three parties' rights were violated: 1- Jack's right to own his money. 2- The society's right to have a safe environment where people do not fear for their persons and possessions. 3- Lastly and more importantly, God's right to be obeyed in his commandment not to steal. Each party can punish or forgive: 1- Jack can ask for punishment or forgive. 2- If no specific punishment has been prescribed by God, the society represented by the judge can choose to punish John even if Jack forgives him or it can forego punishment if the judge deems John to be remorseful for example. 3- Allah can forgive the person or punish him either in this life or the hereafter. Allah has promised that he will forgive sins if the person is repentant and has righted the wrongs he did when he can. For example, by returning the $10 and asking for forgiveness from God and the person he stole from. This was long but I hope it made things more clear.

Following up on the Judge analogy: if someone offends tge judge and is guilty of contempt in the court, can the judge forgive him? Yes if he does he is showing mercy, but if he doesn't he is showing justice, but cannot be blamed for no having mercy... In a sin the is committed against ourselves because we have disobeid the Supreme Judge who has then every right to punish us or forgive us. The big difference is that as the creator, when we wrong someone we still have to face h8me since he is the owner of the people being wronged, that part is not found in the "Judge analogy". May you be guided.

The prophets spoke of a coming king to whom all the people of the world would be subject. If you’re not following King Jesus, you’re at odds with *all* of the prophets. “The scepter shall not depart from Judah, Nor the ruler's staff from between his feet, Until Shiloh comes, *And to him shall be the obedience of the peoples.* (Genesis 49:10 NASB) And *let all kings bow down before him, All nations serve him*. For he will deliver the needy when he cries for help, The afflicted also, and him who has no helper. (Psalms 72:11-12 NASB) "I kept looking in the night visions, And behold, with the clouds of heaven One like a Son of Man was coming, And He came up to the Ancient of Days And was presented before Him. "*And to Him was given dominion, Glory and a kingdom, That all the peoples, nations and men of every language Might serve Him.* His dominion is an everlasting dominion Which will not pass away; And His kingdom is one Which will not be destroyed. (Daniel 7:13-14 NASB) Jesus confirmed he was this prophesied king to whom all nations would be subject when he said...”All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.” (Matthew 28:18 NASB) *The scriptures testify that Jesus is the one who brings eternal life* You search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life; it is these that testify about Me; and you are unwilling to come to Me so that you may have life. (John 5:39-40 NASB) In the line of prophets, Mohammed is a false prophet who’s out on a limb by himself. Please leave the false words of Mohammed that have no prior prophetic backing whatsoever. Seek Jesus so that you can have the assurance of eternal life.

the judge scenario , the correct answer to that should be the judge can't forgive whomever he wishes to forgive because the criminal did not wrong him personally , where as when you do a sin you have directly transgressed and disobeyed god so he can forgive you if he wishes to, just like when you wrong a person he has the ability to press charges or forgive you . where as if you wrong a person then god won't forgive you but first you have to seek forgiveness from the person you wrong then allah will forgive you . i hope thats clear so the whole example is wrong.
@Najiharbi6 жыл бұрын
@sal john sal john so you are basically saying when you sin , God won't forgive you because he is the greatest and you broke the law of the greatest and your punishment is unlimited. So if what your saying is true then your God is not really the most merciful and the most forgiving , he's only just but not forgiving . Our God is merciful and forgiving and loving , he made it easy for us and he let his door open for us to repent anytime we make a mistake , because he knows where are not perfect and we are sinners . And he is just because he gave this repentance chance for every one equally. So he is just and merciful . And he doesn't require human blood shed for forgiveness. And about the creating claims I feel like you are just being stupid or what I don't know , who are you trying to fool but yourself . You are deliberately making up stories and verses in the Quran . It says he breathed in to the bird and it became alive BY THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH And he cured the blind BY THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH It literally says By the permission of Allah after each sentence so it can't be more clear . Moses parted the sea BY THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH. And moses turn the stick and made it live snake BY THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH. Mohammed parted the moon AS A MIRACLE FROM ALLAH , he rose to heaven BY THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH , I could just go on and on.

I want to address the analogy of the judge in court: this is a false analogy because, even in Islam, God require for us to seek forgiveness from the people we have wronged before asking for his forgiveness. So the correct analogy would be if someone hurt another person and than that person forgives hime would the judge still punish him?

The guy in leather jacket isnt as educated as he thinks. Very poor indeed. If this guy became a teacher he wouldnt know to teach the them that in its original language it means something else. Messiah doesnt mean saviour. Messiah means ANNOINTED. Reason,logic,consistancy and sincerity is lost on christians. And it is an oxymoron. Xtian emotions doesnt tally with what the bible says. More false assumptions by xtians. Roman warrior was an example not the main point. Educated doesnt mean one is clever. And it shows in this debate.
