I love Ox Foxx and Stryper... Im an ole fart from the 80's. Started playing guitar back in 82 or 83. Back then Randy Rhoads, Ace Frehley, Van Halen etc was my influences. No father figure around then. Grew up in the projects while mom went to school. We werent very religous but my grand parents were. Grandpa was a Pearl Harbor survivor and lived out in the country in iowa. Guess he wanted to get as far away from the oceans as possible.. Anyway. Brother and I were long hair, druggies and thought rock was cool. Brother went into the navy and came home with a Stryper album To Hell with the Devil,, I loved it instantly.. Changed my life. We bought all their albums back in the day. thats the short story.. Never got a chance to see them but still love their music to this day. Favorite song is hard, so many great tunes, But for me I would say a toss up between Soldiers under command or Free,, Sing along song was great too.. Ummm see. Anyway, now Im old. Still play but not actively in a band anymore. Dont like what I see out there and dont have any desire to play in bars. I totally gave my life to Jesus and cant wait to go home. Going vertical soon. Hallelujah. 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18

OZ Fox is one Under rated guitar player. They should do a top 50 most under rated guitar players. Zappa would be #1 IMO. OZ would prob be in the top 10 for sure, but I would say he’s number 7th most underrated guitar players of all time.

One of the best Solos ever ! Thank you for explaining the thing with the modern tremolo system, i wondered if i made something wrong with my tremolo beacause it made so much noise and it also became loose. Does anyone know where you can buy an oldschool tremolo for a new floyd rose system?
@mcrchickenluvr10 жыл бұрын
Try guitarcenter.com. Or musiciansfriend.com. If anything they could tell you where you might find one. Or try contacting the manufacturer. They may even be able to sell or give you one.

It gives it that "gurgle" sound. I was wondering how you did that. I thought it was in delay. I think only you and Wolf Hoffman, Steve Vai are the very few that I know of that can get every sound out of guitars. But its more than know of them. You know where to look for them.

It not a bolt, its a nut. Bolt = Male threads, Nut = Female Threads. I prefer those too. Alternately though, what works for me on the new sleeve-style vibrato arm is to wrap aluminum foil tape around the bar before sticking it in the sleeve. Not as good as the old style but helps a lot.

More Than A Man, The Way, FREE, In GOD We Trust, To Hell with the devil are still my favorite songs ever written. Somehow, new Stryper songs added in my list such as Murder By Pride, Valley, No More Hell To Pay, Reborn, Do Unto Others, Revelation and more. 🎸
