EFF: ad hoc committee must probe extortion impact

The EFF is calling for an ad hoc committee to be established to investigate the impact of extortion rings. Syndicates are targeting businesses in various sectors and government projects, demanding protection fees or jobs. EFF MP Hlengiwe Mkhaliphi says the committee would urgently tackle extortion syndicates as people on the ground are suffering.

If the law permits it then they can say that. The law does not permit threats and intimidation which is the basis for extortion. Maybe you would be able to reason at that capacity if you were educated and not semi educated like your DA leader
