I am watching this video, I am halfway through and Malema is making so many good, reasonable, understandable points, but I had to stop for a minute. When he was explaining that his directness is just part of his personality, I had to smile. Because he is humble enough to explain himself. Because even with his strong personality, he still cares how he is viewed and wants to make sure that he is not misunderstood. I am from all the way on the other side of the world, but his down-to-Earth talk sounds just like something you would hear being said about our strong leaders, about our role models, about our strong men and women, who are strong on the outside because they have to be, but underneath are all just people. No matter where you find us on Earth, we are the same people.

Listening to Malema speak; you get to appreciate the challenge Africans have to unite as one people. The obstacles set by the continent's former colonisers; where they use the carrot and stick for leaders and nations according to where they toe the line or not, can at times look daunting. But we do have to start from somewhere as a continent; and the EFF has to be applauded for standing up for African ideals. Previous leaders who tried have died for it; because opposition to real African renaissance is deadly. Colonisers would never want to give up their control of Africa for obvious reasons.

The CIC makes mention of a "Music studio" that the party has where talent can record for free. Couple of questions in this regard; #Is it only for "Amapiono"? #Who is "Thulani" and how does one connect with him/her? #What criteria does he/she and their team use to qualify those that get studio time?
