Commendable, you say? Nonsense. A pat on the back for gender parity masks the deeper truth: representation alone doesn’t equate to leadership excellence. These appointments are but window dressing for a fractured organization, where dissenters are silenced, and loyalty to one man takes precedence over true progress. If this is 'rare' in South African politics, perhaps the standard of rarity needs to change. Leadership isn’t a quota-it’s about vision, integrity, and cohesion, none of which I see here.
