Thanks ma'am for this video.. 1 doubt ma'am if covid is absent in amniotic fluid (16:00) then how we detect covid in symptomatic mother by amniotic fluid in antepartum(11:17).. Please help.

She means covid is not transmitted via amniotic fluid ... But if the fetus is already infected via placenta then we can use amniotic fluid as sample

In congenital infection part u said, symptomatic mother is confirmed by virus is present in aminoitic fluid prior to rupture of membrane so that there is vertical transmission occured But U said also covid 19 is absent in : - vaginal secretion - breast milk - aminoitic fluid Kindly Can u clarify these doc !

Yes shweta you are right...what im telling is this is how we come to know that vertical transmission occurs...along with other two methods...its not necessary that all three should be postive to call it as vertical transmission ...presence of any of them means vertical transmission
