Ep 180 - Effective prayer - Angus reminds us of James 5:16 which tells us that the effective fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. That means that when we give our life to Jesus, He will forgive us our sin and make us righteous in the sight of God. As we continue to live as a Christian, having a quiet time every day and trying to do His will then our prayers will become effective because our heart will be in line with the will of God for our life. We need to confess our sin, forgive those who have sinned against us and show the love of God to everyone, then pray the pray of faith and trust God for an answer!

Thanks Angus you are The Truth Man. Regarding the Lords Prayer. I am a regular church goer with my family. I am a follower of Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour. We attend a local Roman Catholic Church. As part of the church service there is always a segment where everyone stands and prays the Lord’s Prayer while holding hands with the people around. Usually family. And so every time one attends a Roman Catholic Church the entire congregation stands while praying the Lord’s Prayer. God Bless you Angus. You are a Blessing to us🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

What about a 7 year old girl who had just lost her mother. Taking a trip to get away and heal. Going to the ocean see beach for first time. Storm clouds everywhere and only that day to see beach. Praying for just litte sun. God gave her her little bit sun and memories on beach.
