@@Mo_doyin no you are not being unfair in any way, you can first talk to him about it be transparent as possible …. with him see his response and then from that make a decision. i almost dated a guy that 1. was a Muslim 2. the other one was just not aligned in and with the will of God. sex for me has been out of my equation, not that i haven't done it nope i have and i can tell you that the many times i did it i was even more broken than the first. So how did i deal with the two guys. 1. the Muslim- i was open enough with him to tell him we could not be together, not that we were not compatible no. we were the most compatible , he was my soul mate but then, I had to discern if this man's purpose was aligned to mine. would he support me in the things i am passionate about God? i don't think so. and we mutually parted ways, we still talk from time to time but not as much. 2nd guy , was more of your situation, he wasn't all interested in the things of God and i am just one too passionate about Christ to let a boy or man destroy that believe it or not, with God there are certain things you must discern for yourself and see what the will of God is. With God you have to be intentional , missionary dating i wouldn't recommend , you may be into deep but sis if he is not interested in the things of God it is best to let him go. tell him your reasons for doing so..

Honestly I love being celibate, like I actually sat with myself today and I realized that I don't regret not having sex with my exs or the men I used to be interested in and sexually attracted to. I am so glad that I didn't have sex with any of them, that I never gave in. Yh I have my sexual feelings but the peace I have now is so much better than possibly ever giving in to my sexual needs. They always said they can be Celibate with me but when we are behind close doors all they wanted was sex. I ended the relationship, and felt bad so I wanted to get back with him because he ticked most of the boxes except this important one. But thank God they couldn’t take me back. It’s been 2 months on my celibate journey, I don’t crave for sex nor miss the person intimately but I just miss doing this life thing together. I can totally relate to everything Uzoma said. I've been dating my fiance for 5 years and we're engaged to be married in few months time and walahi, it hasn't been easy. I even thought the urges will get better once we get engaged and the wedding is close, but omo! It's harder. The devi will tell me that it's just few moths to the wedding, we'll eventually get married, but thank God for wisdom ,we're still standing. In summary, being I a sexual pure relationship isn't easy, but it's easier when you both are on the same page.

I believe there should be a Part 2. I really like what you guys are talking about. When I say I desire to marry a virgin some people think I’m selfish (kinda plays a role) but I want to walk this journey and learn with my Mrs. As a male who haven’t done the do & I’m in my early 30s, I kinda fear expectations so I’d rather want one we both learn and grow. But hey, it could be otherwise & I thank God as well. You people raised really strong points especially the 2nd question. At times I think of it & ask, why would God tell us to hold back on something that the body naturally desires for and seeks after? Why put it at a certain time to be unlocked yet we’re sexual beings? I agree with the topic, I am a virgin and I was 27 when I told my ex-school/varsity friends that I was not sexually active nor had sexual affection/soul ties with my exes and luckily long-term relationship I ever was in was with a Christian, born by water and spirit and we dated for 5 years and knew each other for 5months before actually dating or making a choice to date/courtship and the mere fact we know the principles of the bible about relationships, dating, sex, marriage. Here am I still fighting the good fight of faith, I will get married hopefully to someone that is also abstaining or resisting sexual immorality/sex before marriage because it is significant not to me but to God, my family, and my church. Being pure, clean, and holy not just with what we say and think but, also with our body, mind and soul because of our own choices that lead to "things' whereby at times an individual is regretful, ashamed or even worse heartbroken because of intercourse (sex) due to the guilt or soul ties" that needs to be broken because it's vital due to the body is the temple of God and God is a jealous, just, holy and righteous Father...

Awwwwn this is interesting. As a born again Christian. Started my dedicated journey in august last year. And frankly celibacy has been a big issue lol. I’ve lost men I thought were perfect cause of the tension. Actually just mutually decided with my newest boyfriend 2 days ago to stay ‘friends’ since he wasn’t on this celibacy journey and it is a big struggle for him. My boyfriend and l just started celibacy journey I brought it up to him and what he thinks about it. At first he wasn't okay with it but I have to explain to him that the fact that the world is doing it doesn't mean it's a good thing to be having sex before marriage. Great video. Relationship and Marriage should be looked at from the long term perspective and not just short term. Sex is great and all but it's just one piece of the entire puzzle. You have to look at all other things from a critical level if you want your relationship to work. There is emotional damage attached to having sex in every single relationship and to top it off, it shows lack of regard for your body. Your body is a temple that should be protected at all costs. Being loose in a sexual way exposes you to a lot of avoidable problems. -Emotional Damage. -STDS -Public embarrassment that you can never come back from because people will always bring it up to silence you. Honestly all that comes to mind when “sex” is mentioned is all the dirty stuff. All the reprimands saying “don’t do it,” and all the temptations and how dirty you feel if you do it without being married. However, as young as I am, at the age of 15, this video is slowly changing my perspective. ❤️. When you said that it’s God protecting us, that hit deep!! And the thing about self discipline yhoo!!! i am just grateful that i have soo many mentors to feed from like this platform, real Christians to give me the REAL experience so that i can learn from my mistakes, celibacy isn't something to walk in and succeed in just there and then it is a process, it takes time and if done right with the right person you will thrive. i am in a season where i am heavily convicted on sex, and celibacy and believe it or not it is when i chose to be celibate that i have seen myself have more sex than ever, i have tried to wonder and ask myself that before sex wasn't a problem for me at all, but it is now that i declared it over my life that i have seen more sexual activity in ,my life. disappointed? i am little disappointed yes , but then sometimes i think is it because it is my first dating relationship that we seem to fall off the rails too quickly? actually it has made me question certain behaviors in my life, what needs to change about me? am i drinking too much? am i spending more time being unproductive? hence do i have regrets? no i don't but will i stay in this valley? no i will not. i will try and do better for my relationship. hence i think if you are in a similar position and you feel like you have fallen far from grace you haven't. just pick up and make the right choices, if you are truly a child of God he will guide you.

😂😂😂 Describe it Pst brandy…describe itttt Thank you for this video, celibacy is so hard. Just genuinely avoid the opposite sex if you’re on the journey ESPECIALLY when you’re not in a relationship. All these friends of the opposite sex that you might be attracted to and you know they’re attracted to you cause trust me just conversations can get you out of your journey. God loves us so much that he didn’t want all these unnecessary trauma for us. Stay strong people, we got this by the grace of God.

I finally got to sit and watch this. I have learned a lot and this has given me so much to think about. I think when everyone tells you to not have sex and then you find out that marriage is the one place it's allowed, you place that as the only and highest thing you can do in it. It made me think 🤔 "What do people actually do in marriage?" After you have had sex, now what? It's made me think about purpose, getting to really know someone (as you've said), getting to know myself more and what I desire as well as what God's desire is for marriage because you spend your LIFE with this person.
