Thank you for the video. the slowmo was good to see the chip thickness.

I've been using the Coromill Dura inch assortment at work for several months. They really do work as good as the video here shows. I believe Sandvik bought out the american company called duramill. I've personally had good experience with their 5 flute endmills and 3 flute endmills for aluminum.

Used these endmills from duramill at the shop that I work at. Tools came in packaging still labeled “made in USA” until a few months ago they started saying “made in china”. I’m assuming Sandvik took the duramill designs and began making them in their china manufacturing facility recently to support the product launch?. The endmills don’t last as long as they used to and we are currently trialing endmills from several different manufactures to replace these.

@@sandvikcoromant Are you able to tell us more about this technology?

@@Convolutedtubules Hi there The unique WhisperKut™ advanced unequal helix concept effectively eliminates vibration and makes machining smooth, secure and silent. On every level of the cutting edge each flute is unequally spaced from the others, reducing the constant harmonics typically produced with conventional end mills. Here is the link to the product family page also: www.sandvik.coromant.com/en-gb/tools/solid-round-tools/solid-carbide-end-mills/coromill-dura

Thank you for not playing music like everyone else does. But PLEASE stop using slo-mo. We want to see and hear the tool cut in real time. Thanks.
@sandvikcoromant2 жыл бұрын
Hi there The reason for using slow motion sequences is for being able to show the cutting process more in detail. It is appreciated by many and we of course also have the real time machining including the true sound of cutting metal
@Stasiek_Zabojca2 жыл бұрын
But slow motion was only little part of the video... There was still lots of real time cutting...

@@sandvikcoromant Don't listen to them, slow motion shots of machining are exactly what we need more of!

Please don't watch it you don't want to! We like both the slow mo and real-time machining.
