Highlighting everything will impact the question as well. It's recommended to highlight as you type each question. Alternatively, you can type a question and its options, then duplicate it and make necessary changes.

What is the whole document is separated in two columns already?

For documents in two columns, it is advisable to list the options in the vertical order or better still in only two columns

You can achieve this by following these steps: 1. Arrange the options vertically, for example: A. Man B. Woman C. Boy D. Girl 2. Select the first two options (A & B), then go to Layout > Columns > Two. 3. Select the next two options (C & D), then go to Layout > Columns > Two. This will arrange the options in the desired order.
